Hayley Orantia is American actress, musician and acrobat. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy series "The Goldbergs". She is, however, a music lover. When she was nine years old of age, she began exploring music. When she was 12 she was taking serious enough about music to start professional training. In the age of 13, she began writing songs. Her debut album in the age of 14. And the rest is history. Orrantia is of Hispanic heritage, yet was born in the USA. She is proud of the reality that she is a native of Hispanic roots, despite speaking English only, and did not live in Mexico. Her goal is to preserve the culture by writing Spanish songs and learning the language. "Hasta Verte" is a song in Spanish which she recorded is a good illustration. Orrantia was a contestant on The X Factor during its debut season in the summer of 2011. Her YouTube video was picked and she received four "yeses" (or votes) by the judges at the Seattle audition. At first, she auditioned as a soloist, she as well as three female singers were grouped with three other singers for the last auditions of "Hollywood Week". They were eliminated in the 5th week during the live program.
