Lita Rossana Ford often referred to as Lita Ford is a British-born American singer-songwriter, guitarist and vocalist who played lead guitar of the all-girl hard rock band The Runaways in the late 1970s.Their rock-star sound and raucous lyrics made them popular within the world of rock. While the group did not make much progress in America however they became extremely popular in other countries. That was the case especially in Japan. Ford started her own heavy-metal career after the disbandment from her band in 1979. The release of Black in 1995 followed by a fifteen-year delay for the album 'Wicked Wonderland. 2016 saw the release of her latest studio album "Time Capsule".
